Do I have to make an appointment for an estimate?

NO it is not necessary to make an appointment, however it always helps to call ahead so that we can help assess your situation. Sometimes we can move your claim ahead without even coming in for an estimate!

How much is an estimate?

Estimates are free!

Are you open on weekends?

We are not. Our hours are Monday-Thursday from 7:00am-5:00pm, and Friday 8:00am-12:00pm. Saturday and Sunday are for family time and fun.

Will I have to pay my deductible?

Yes, your deductible is part of the agreement in your insurance policy that you must pay as the first part of your claim.

How long does it take to repair my vehicle?

This is an equation calculated by the hours and size of the Repair Order. We generate about 5 hours a day which includes dry-times and administration labor. We can calculate an original estimated date, but until we teardown the vehicle, write a blueprint and calculate parts arrival we will not have an exact date. Once we have all this information, we will call or text you with an accurate completion date.

Will my paint match?

Yes, we guarantee your vehicles color match. We spray the highest quality of paint and use the most advanced color matching system in the automotive industry.

What kind of guarantee do you have?

All of our work is guaranteed for the life of your vehicle.

Will you use factory parts?

We ALWAYS advocate for OEM factory parts; however your insurance company generally will source other parts for cost savings. We always give the vehicle owner the opportunity to pay the difference if we are unable to work with our dealer network to match the prices for you.

What are aftermarket parts?

The automotive aftermarket is the secondary market of the automotive industry, concerned with the manufacturing, remanufacturing, distribution, retailing, and installation of all vehicle parts, chemicals, tools, equipment and accessories for light and heavy vehicles, after the sale of the automobile by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to the consumer, which may or may not be manufactured by the original equipment manufacturer.

What does LKQ mean?

Acronym for Like Kind and Quality. Refers to a used part salvaged from another vehicle. It is inspected by the seller and re-inspected by us to assure a proper fit and excellent quality.

What is PDR?

Acronym for Paint-less Dent Removal. Sometimes, depending on the location and accessibility we can PDR minor dents without having to do any paint work. This has the potential to save considerably on the cost. If you have minor dents ask our estimators about this option.

What if my frame is bent?

“Vehicles just aren’t built like they used to be.” That’s right, they are NOT!! They are built so much better. Having frame damage isn’t as significant or troublesome as it used to be. With the huge advancements taken by car manufactures and modern repair techniques and equipment, frame damage is just another procedure.

Do you do glass replacement?

Yes, we can install all makes and models of glass including windshields.

When can I wash my car?

Right away. We have a bake cycle booth that cures the paint immediately after it’s painted. We actually detail and wash the vehicle prior to you picking it up. So wash away. However, we would like to see a 2 month curing period before applying wax.

Does Martin's Body Shop provide a warranty for my repair?

Yes! We provide a Limited Lifetime Warranty for all of our repaired vehicles. This warranty covers all of the repairs that we made to your vehicle, for as long as you own the vehicle. If you sell the vehicle, or otherwise transfer it, the warranty does not transfer with it.
